Two new classroom-based certificate programs will be offered this year by ICPI-trained instructors. Addressing increased concrete paver use in construction projects, the Level II Concrete Paver Installer Certificate Course targets installers who have completed ICPI’s Level I paver installation program. It is tailored to contractors experienced in residential paver projects who are looking to expand into municipal and commercial work.
The second class–the Permeable Interlocking Concrete Pavement (PICP) Installer Technician Certificate Course–is designed for contractors expanding into the permeable pavement market. The two-day program helps potential and existing PICP contractors learn industry-established guidelines for residential and commercial applications.
The permeable class will be offered for the first time during World of Concrete, Feb. 4-5, in Las Vegas, while the Level II installer course debuts at Icon Expo, March 19-20 in San Antonio, Texas. Subsequent offerings are listed on ICPI’s Calendar of Events.
