Mid-Atlantic Precast has launched with an 8-ft. Spancrete hollowcore production line, targeting Interstate 95-linked markets from New York to North Carolina. The producer is running plank (up to 66 ft. lengths) and wall panels (insulated and noninsulated) on a three-bed Spancrete GT-240 system in a 70,000-sq.-ft. enclosure, built at the King George County Industrial Park. Situated about midpoint between Washington, D.C., and Richmond, Va., the 145-acre park lies along U.S. 301, accessing nearby I-95. Mid-Atlantic Precast’s initial projects have included a 60,000-sq.-ft. Hilton Garden Inn in Waldorf, Md., and 100,000-sq.-ft. dormitory at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville.

Mid-Atlantic Precast founder and president David Stone is a veteran of architectural and structural precast. Joining him are these sales managers, by territory: Dan Boccard, New York; John Kurrie, Maryland, Metro D.C., Delaware and New Jersey; Allan Pacziewski, Virginia; and, Jack McCallus, North Carolina.
