A new company-branded hydraulic quick coupler for its wheel loaders maintains compatibility with current buckets Û especially rapid-fill buckets featuring a five-degree angle to the floor plate for easier transition of material to the bucket rear, plus general-purpose, Î4-in-1Î, scrap grapple, and side-dump buckets Û as well as attachments, including forks, brooms, and jib booms. The coupler is now available through the manufacturer’s dealers as a factory-installed option or a dealer retrofit for machines in the field. It can be used on Case 521E, 621E, 721E and 821E wheel loaders and all configurations of those models.
Operators reportedly will benefit from the hydraulic coupler while working on jobs that require use of multiple attachments, e.g., switching from forks to transport pipe to a boom to position a manhole and back to a bucket for backfilling.
