Maschmeyer Concrete has strengthened its role as a leading Sunshine State independent producer through the purchase of Inland Materials and Inland Block and Supply. Spanning five sites in the Orlando and Volusia County marketplace, the transaction positions the buyer with one concrete block and eight Florida DOT-certified ready mixed plants; a portable concrete plant business; and, a rebar-fabrication division. Both companies run front-discharge mixers and have a combined fleet of 130-plus trucks.

Vince Murphy, whose father Richard founded Inland Materials in 1957, has been appointed president of Maschmeyer Inland Division. By joining the Maschmeyer family of companies, he notes, the Inland business is more competitive and can further expand its mission to be customersÌ supplier of choice.

Our family-owned and operated companies share a history of delivering exceptional quality and service to valued customers. We plan to uphold that tradition as we enter the central Florida marketplace, adds Troy Maschmeyer, who set up shop in south Florida 23 years ago, branching out from his family’s Michigan concrete business.
