AEM and NCMA recently formalized an agreement whereby the 2011 International Concrete Exposition (ICON Expo) will be staged along with the 2011 ConExpo-Con/Agg show, March 22-26, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. NCMA indicated a tentative plan to co-locate the annual ICON Expo with the much larger event, held every three years, shortly after opting out of the partnership behind the (2003Ò2008) Manufactured Concrete Products Exposition.
ICON Expo’s February 2009 debut in Indianapolis combined trade exhibits with product demonstrations, education program, networking events, and convention activities for NCMA and partner groups Cast Stone Institute, Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute, Expanded Shale, Clay and Slate Institute, and Portland Cement Association.
