The 2009 Command Alkon Customer Conference, March 30-April 1 at Las Vegas’ Mirage Resort and Casino, will feature nine tracks for concrete, aggregate, cement and asphalt producers; expanded product service labs; and, presentations on the widely subscribed FISH! business motivation program.

Lab track opportunities are provided for a variety of different product lines to allow users to work with the applications and one-on-one with service professionals, application experts, IT staff, programmers, and managers on service issues and application or database questions.

The Concrete track is designed for dispatchers, dispatch managers, plant managers, executives, owners, or anyone in the organization making decisions that impact plant operations. Sessions will cover common industry issues, trends, best practices, and measuring performance. Sessions on Commandconcrete allow application users and managers to investigate new modules and features to improve efficiency and streamline operations.

The Bulk Materials track is designed for weighmasters, operators, quarry supervisors, site managers, executives, and owners. There are offerings in this track for Apex users as well as Commandaggregate users. Sessions will cover common industry issues and allow bulk materials providers to investigate new modules and features to improve productivity and streamline operations.

The Concrete Plant Automation track offers a variety of sessions targeted to batching operators, managers and plant owners. Commandbatch and Spectrum training offerings are included as well as other plant automation products.

The Quality Control track provides a broad look at the role QC/QA plays in keeping customers satisfied and making operations profitable. Sessions also take a very detailed look at the specific features and functions of Commandqc and how the program can boost profitability.

The Management track offers a wide array of sessions geared towards middle or executive management, and owners at sites using both Command Alkon and JWS systems. Sessions on new product offerings and product direction equip those who strategize how applications and systems will evolve with the information they need to plan for the future. Other sessions focus on how to best use the data from Command Alkon systems as information for analysis, reporting and decision making.

The Back Office track is geared towards both Apex and Commandseries users and managers who are focused on Invoicing, Receivables, Quotations, E-Commerce, Content Management and financial reporting functions.

The Information Technology track targets IT professionals and system administrators for Apex and Commandseries installations. Sessions related to both Oracle and SQL databases are offered and topics range from upgrading a user’s application to backups and disaster recovery.

The Workplace track provides an opportunity to learn strategies for team building, motivation, human resources, and compliance that attendees can take back to their organizations.

The Spanish track is available to conference attendees who prefer or require presentations from, or individual meetings with, Command Alkon staff or representatives fluent in Spanish.
