National Ready Mixed Concrete Association has scheduled four fall stops for its Design of Concrete Parking Lots seminar: Seattle, Nov. 13; Los Angeles, Nov. 20; Denver, Dec. 9; and, San Antonio, Dec. 11. Suitable for civil and geotechnical engineers, landscape architects and public works officials, as well as producers and contractors, the course emphasizes concrete’s advantages, including extended service life and low maintenance, plus environmental benefits, such as cooler surfaces and reduced lighting requirements.
Attendees earn six Professional Development Hours upon completion of this program. Registered with the American Institute of Architects’ Continuing Education Systems, the seminar is offered in association with state and local cement and concrete promotion groups.
