The concrete industry’s Strategic Development Council (SDC) announces the launch of its new Web site, www.concreteSDC.org, featuring information on the organization, its members, upcoming meetings and events, plus current projects under consideration. Users can also sign up for a new bimonthly e-newsletter on the site that will keep subscribers up to date. Throughout the year, SDC members meeting regularly pursue a number of ongoing projects and initiatives, including the Concrete Sustainability Roadmap, Self-Consolidating Concrete Form Pressure Research, Performance Specifications, and Vision 2020-Repair & Protection. The organization comprises top-level concrete industry executives aiming to promote expeditious movement of meaningful concrete innovations through the standardization process into eventual commercial use.
