Cleveland-based Euclid Chemical Co. has acquired Increte Systems, Odessa, Fla., adding decorative concrete prospects to its admixture and construction products core. Notes Euclid Executive Vice President Moorman Scott, who will direct the new, stand-alone business unit, Increte has been exceedingly successful in establishing a decorative concrete leadership position. This acquisition provides the springboard to propel Euclid forward in this attractive market segment. The deal brings a comprehensive product line backed with all-inclusive manufacturing processes and training capabilities, he adds.
This is a win-win for Increte and Euclid, as well as for our customers and supply channel partners, affirms former Increte president Mike Lowe Sr., who will assist in a transition period, while the existing management team remains.
Euclid Chemical’s move into coloring agents, pattern stamps, and supplies for flatwork and vertical applications follows decorative market-driven distribution and market alliances that BASF Admixture Systems and Grace Construction Products have effected in recent years, respectively, with L.M. Scofield Co. and Davis Colors.
