Timed with the company 20th anniversary servicing the mid-Atlantic region, Tindall Corp. plans a major expansion of its Virginia Division operation in Dinwiddie County, just south of Richmond. Once completed, the upgraded plant will be capable of nearly double the current precast/prestressed concrete building system component output.

A new office building, expanded support facilities, additional storage capability and infrastructure improvements are included in the expansion, along with significant equipment additions. These will enable the Virginia Division to better utilize the existing enclosed production facility and help meet the region’s growing demand for precast/prestressed structures, Tindall officials affirm.

During the expansion, the producer anticipates adding up to 80 new production, support, technical and clerical staff. The expanded facility is scheduled for completion by the summer of 2008, a year that will mark the 20th anniversary of Tindall’s opening the Dinwiddie County plant. The facility’s master plan allows room for still further expansion.
