After seven years with National Semiconductor, including his most recent position as facilities and environmental, health and safety manager, David Ayers has been named National Ready Mixed Concrete Association managing director of Compliance. A certified safety professional, he will focus on the industry’s environmental and safety compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
Our members have stressed their commitment to preserving natural resources, providing a safe workplace and complying with both the letter and spirit of all regulations while producing a quality product. Dave will play a key role in serving our membership in each of these areas, says NRMCA President Robert Garbini. Ayers will work closely with NRMCA’s team responsible for the often overlapping areas of government affairs, engineering, codes and standards, and education and training, he adds.
