Lafarge North America, Reston, Va., closed last month on the Heritage Division of H.B. Mellott Estate, a Warfordsburg, Pa., operator with three ready mixed plants and four quarries in western Maryland and southern Pennsylvania. The properties will be consolidated into the buyer’s Aggregates, Concrete & Asphalt operations, which include a key franchise serving the District of Columbia and Baltimore-Washington corridor.
