Tindall Corp. President and COO Gregory Force, P.E., has announced the promotion of Roger Knox and Bud Henry to senior management positions. A 24-year Tindall veteran, Knox brings to his new role of vice president of Facilities and Materials Engineering experience in structural design and materials engineering, sales, and product and process development. He most recently served as general manager for the Spartanburg, S.C., headquarters plant.
A 30-plus-year veteran in the purchasing field, Henry was promoted to vice president of Purchasing. He served previously as director of purchasing in Tindall’s Spartanburg facility, where he developed procurement programs with the supplier base and negotiated purchasing contracts.
Responding to strong business growth, the Spancrete Group, Inc., recently hired Rick Ostgard as a sales representative in the Green Bay office. Besides a degree in architectural drafting, Ostgard brings nearly 30 years of precast sales and inside sales experience. A member of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute Parking Ramp Committee, he will provide architectural and structural precast solutions for A/E firms, developers, and contractors in northern Wisconsin.
Separately, the Spancrete Group assigned Brian Forston, Jim Gambon, and Ron Klafka to newly created project manager positions. They will assume overall responsibility for a project, ensuring that each stays on schedule and within budget while fulmeeting client expectations.
Formerly a project coordinator, Forston brings 22-plus years of construction experience, including six years with Spancrete. Gambon’s career has encompassed 21 years of precast industry experience, including 14 years with Spancrete as project coordinator (for over five years) and nine years in design and engineering. Previously working as a field superintendent, Klafka has 35-plus years of construction and project management experience.
