Dynacore Equipment Ltd., North Vancouver, B.C., has acquired from ATMI Canada the manufacturing and intellectual property assets for the International Hollowcore Engineering (IHE) line of extruders. The buyer currently provides service and supplies parts to IHE equipment users, and is also actively developing enhancements to the existing Dynacore systems, including extruder models for 6- to 16-in. deep product. Given the hollowcore equipment business consolidation in recent years, we believe producers [seek] more technology options, says Dynacore President Geoff Chambers. We will be making new technology announcements in early 2007.
