Denver-based Environmental Stoneworks, a turnkey producer, installer and distributor of precast stone veneer and related products, announced late last year plans to acquire St. Croix Stone, Inc. of North Branch, Minn. The deal will strengthen the buyer’s Midwest market presence and allow it to better serve key customers nationally, management notes, while St. Croix Stone will see a broadened market for its unique products, plus an installation business boost.
St. Croix Stone has always been an innovator in veneer products and we look forward to continuing that tradition with its loyal Midwest customer base, says Environmental Stoneworks CEO Cameron Klein. By partnering with St. Croix we will be able to better serve our national customers within the region and enhance product offering to them.
Our team thinks this is a great fit and believes customers and employees will surely benefit. We look forward to growing our installation capability and selling leading edge products on a larger scale, adds St. Croix Stone President Rick Helps.
Environmental Stoneworks has operations in 12 states, serving the Northeast, Southeast, Rocky Mountain, and Southwestern markets. Target expansion areas include the Carolinas, New England and Texas.
