Structural Preservation Systems has opened an SPS Industrial Division Office in the Baton Rouge, La., area. Jason Dodson, who has been promoted to division manager, will head the new office, joining it from the company’s Houston branch.
Dan Houk, president of Wilbert Precast Inc., Spokane, Wash., has been elected to a three-year term on the National Precast Concrete Association board of directors. Also named to the board during the association’s 41st annual convention were Barry Fleck of A.L. Patterson Inc.; Lisa Gainey-Roache of Gainey’s Concrete Products; and, Willard (Bill) Thorn of Thorn-Orwick/Oldcastle Precast. NPCA 2005-2006 Chairman Joan Blecha (Hanson Pipe & Precast) passed the gavel to Dan Barbour (Barbour Concrete Co.), who began a one-year term effective November.
