Hanson Roof Tile Inc. has announced plans to build a 40,000-sq.-ft. concrete tile plant in Fort Worth and modernize its smaller, existing operation in Luling, Texas. The company has earmarked $13 million for the projects, which coincide with construction of a fourth Florida plant, in Sanderson. Hanson Plc of London has developed Deerfield Beach, Fla.-based Hanson Roof Tile as a main player across the Sun Belt Û with production and distribution from the Carolinas to northern California Û since inheriting six plants (Florida, Arizona, California) from Pioneer USA six years ago.
