Robert Ober, a 25-year veteran of high-performance concrete batching and mixing equipment design and installation, has established a San Antonio-based entity, Plant Architects LLC. He has also teamed up with Navajo ironworking crews to form Plant Outfitters, a company that will be organized as a Navajo Nation Small Business Enterprise. Ober will take a minority stake in the company and administrate it jointly with Plant Architects.

Plant Architects and Plant Outfitters will offer concrete producers a combined source for everything from project development Û specification writing, plant design and engineering Û to plant installation, as well as plant retrofit and repairs. Ober most recently was president of Simem America, an entity with which he helped parlay twin-shaft mixing equipment technology into mainstream ready mixed and manufactured-concrete batch plant design.
