Marking Besser GmbH/OMAG’s second anniversary, nearly 100 customers joined company staff for an early-June open house at the Besser Co. European headquarters in Emden, Germany. In welcoming speeches, Besser President and CEO Kevin Curtis and Besser GmbH Managing Director Manfred M∏ller emphasized the significance of the OMAG acquisition in bringing large-pallet concrete products machines to the Besser equipment lineup as well as talented OMAG personnel to the Besser team. Curtis noted that Besser-OMAG is the most versatile large pallet/big board production system in the landscape segment of the concrete products industry and, as such, plays an instrumental role in the company’s continued focus on customer satisfaction, innovative products, process improvements, and financial stability. Additionally, he observed, the northern Germany location provides Besser Co. with a headquarters to serve European, former Soviet Union and Middle Eastern producers.
After M∏ller expressed appreciation for guests’ continued loyalty and support and thanked Besser-OMAG employees for their dedicated service, tours were offered of the manufacturing facility to view the wide range of equipment destined for sites worldwide and learn about the complete product line.
