Cemstone Products Co., Mendota Heights, Minn., has acquired Carlton, Minn.-based Lambert Ready Mix. The operation lies about 25 miles west of Duluth and complements Cemstone’s existing properties in the towns of Aitkin, Isle, Pequot Lakes, Rock Creek and Sandy Lake.
The addition of Lambert Ready-Mix will enhance our service to a large portion of northern Minnesota, says Cemstone’s Tim Becken, vice president of operations. With six plants in the region and more trucks in operation, our ability to meet the needs of area contractors and homeowners will be stronger than ever. Following the transaction, he adds, Cemstone has more than 40 ready mixed plants in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
