The PCA Educational Foundation is accepting nominations through January for Research Fellowships offering engineering and physical sciences graduate students $20,000 for tuition and related expenses. Each year the Foundation provides financial assistance to students working on projects related to cement milling, concrete technology, residential building, public works, masonry, and engineered structures.
The fellowships are open to any student completing studies towards a masters or doctoral degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution of higher education within Canada or the U.S. The applicant must be pursuing graduate study in an engineering, science, material science, or architectural program. Award determinations will be announced in June 2006, with stipend payments submitted directly to the universities. Entry forms are available for download at www.cement.org. Additional information can be obtained from PCA’s Steve Kosmatka, 847/972-9164; [email protected].
