The Concrete Industry Management program patrons and staff, along with World of Concrete show management and Ritchie Bros., will stage a Jan. 19 auction in Las Vegas to raise funds for a CIM building at the Middle Tennessee State University campus in Murfreesboro. The event will take place the third day of World of Concrete 2006 and kick off the CIM program’s 10th anniversary year. Since 1996, the program has been housed in space Middle Tennessee State converted to classrooms and a concrete lab.
Anchoring auction offerings will be a new mixer donated by McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing. World of Concrete management and Ritchie Bros. are donating staff time and convention area space for the auction, all proceeds from which will be directed to the CIM Building campaign. Details on the auction and donation methods will be posted at www.worldofconcrete.com. Additional information can be obtained from CIM chief Austin Cheney, 615/904-8470 or [email protected].
