Sunroc Corp., the flagship aggregates, ready mixed, masonry and construction services business of St. George, Utah-based Clyde Cos., has expanded its Northern Utah region, acquiring the assets of Tri-County Concrete. Based in Roosevelt, east of Salt Lake City, the company supplies construction aggregates and ready-mixed concrete to municipalities, contractors and do-it-yourself project customers in Utah’s Duchesne, Uintah and Daggett counties. Tri-County employees will continue in their current positions with Sunroc, led by Operations Manager Clint Gardner.

“Tri-County[’s] commitment to provide quality construction products and services in the Uintah Basin makes this partnership a natural fit for Sunroc, and we are proud to welcome their employees to the Sunroc team,” says Vice President of Construction Materials Russell Leslie.

Oldcastle Infrastructure, Atlanta, has acquired Caldwell, Idaho-based Valley Precast Inc., which produces underground concrete structures for environmental and energy applications. The deal positions Oldcastle Infrastructure, Nampa—located near Valley Precast and the capital city of Boise—as Idaho water management market leader, while expanding its energy products stake and marking the producer’s on-site wastewater segment entry. Oldcastle Infrastructure cites Valley Precast owners John and Cindy Greiner’s “reputation for exceptional customer service and a deep knowledge of the on-site wastewater market,” and has tasked Nampa Site Manager Jared Farrow and Area General Manager, Pacific Northwest Region Rick Jones with assimilating the business.
