Current fleet plus restored antique mixers
Program Once again, outstanding fleet graphics will be recognized when Concrete Products and National Ready Mixed Concrete Associa-tion (NRMCA) team up to hold a sixth competition. The program honors the best ready-mixed truck paint and decal schemes, and recognizes individual companies' methods of promoting professionalism and positive public image for the industry.
Participants Participants may include U.S. and Canadian ready-mix producers. Companies from other countries are invited to participate for honorable mention.
Award-winning categories First Place, Second Place and Honorable Mention award winners will be selected from producers in three fleet size categories: five to 25 trucks; 26 to 75 trucks; and more than 75 trucks. Special awards will be presented to one-of-a-kind trucks that have unique designs or community service/promotional messages. This year there will also be a fifth category for restored antique mixer trucks. A special recognition award will be given to all entries.
Award presentations Plaques will be presented to winners during NRMCA's annual meeting, which will take place in conjunction with ConExpo/ConAgg 1999, March 23-27 in Las Vegas. Winning and honorable mention entries will be featured in the March 1999 issue of Concrete Products.

Entries must include 8 Yen 10 color photos of front corner angle and side views of a typical truck, plus a group shot of a fleet showing at least five vehicles. For trucks in the specialty and antique classes, include only the front corner angle and side views. Entries must be received at NRMCA by October 16, 1998.
Judging NRMCA's Operations and Equipment Maintenance Committee will assemble a panel of judges representing concrete, trucking and advertising interests. Entries will be judged during the committee's Fall 1998 meeting in Seattle.
