The American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) has released its newest resource publication, “ACPA Product Catalog of Technical and Promotional Products” — a free catalog featuring more than 140 technical and promotional publications, software programs, and educational/training course descriptions. The 28-page piece is organized by topics, including airports, concrete pavement restoration, construction, cost analysis, environmental considerations, industrial and trucking issues, intersections, and jointing. Also featured are resources focusing on materials and durability, overlays, ultra-thin whitetopping, performance, research and technology, streets and local roads, subbases, and traffic management.

The catalog includes more than 30 new or revised products, along with descriptions and registration information for the association's educational and training courses, including: construction of portland cement concrete pavements, WinPAS software training, Concrete Pavements 101, and ACPA's airport pavement design seminar. Further, the publication provides detailed pricing information, including shipping costs for worldwide delivery, as well as instructions for ordering by phone, fax, or through the Internet.

Copies of the “ACPA Product Catalog” can be obtained by fax or e-mail, 847/966-9970 or acpa@pavement.com, or by contacting Debbie Howard, 847/966-2272.

In addition to the resource catalog, ACPA has recently published the 70-page Concrete Pavement Repair Manual. Describing methods and procedures for maintaining and repairing concrete pavements, the publication begins with an introduction, overview of concrete pavements, and a guide to selecting repair materials. Tabbed sections of the illustrated handbook detail full-depth repair, partial-depth repair, subsealing, diamond grinding, and load transfer restoration.

The publication was edited and annotated by ACPA to provide in-depth repair information. As members of a tri-service committee, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Navy's Naval Facilities Engineering Command, and U.S. Air Force Civil Engineering Support Agency developed and compiled information on which the manual was based.

Copies of the “Concrete Pavement Repair Manual” (literature code JP002P) are available for $24.00 ($8.00 for ACPA members). The publication may be ordered online at ACPA's web site, www.pavement.com, or by contacting the ACPA order-processing department at 800/868-6733 (phone) or 847/966-6666 (fax).
