Mixer-mounted tanks expedite site washout

Ontario-based truck component manufacturer Nu-Line Products recently introduced the Away Wash series devices for ready mixed concrete producers. The newest offering, the 11.9-gal. MKII, is a smaller version of a namesake, 14.5-gal. model. Both are of polyethylene construction and mount at the rear of mixer trucks; their removable sieves capture coarse materials, and their hoses drain by gravity into plant settling ponds. The MKII and Away Wash design allows truck chutes to be washed down anywhere, and equip ready mixed producers with a critical pollution control tool.

The 11.9-gal. MKII joins the larger 14.5-gal. Away Wash (right) model for mixer truck washout capture. Coarse aggregate is separated in removable sieves, while slurry and water drain through hoses.
