Sellick Equipment Ltd. recently cut the ribbon on a $21 million Harrow, Ontario, facility equipped with advanced technology to help maintain leadership in rough terrain forklifts. The 126,000-sq.-ft. operation is designed for new product innovation and design flexibility. To ensure higher quality standards than legacy production lines, Sellick officials note, all areas of manufacturing have been upgraded, including a new machining center consisting of CNC controlled laser cutting, milling and turning devices; automated storage and retrieval systems for raw materials and aftermarket parts; plus, advanced metal preparation and paint line.

Nearing its 50th year in business, Sellick Equipment continues to produce a wide variety of rough terrain forklifts, each built to meet a customer’s application and supported by a dedicated North American dealer network. “Our long-term plan is to increase the business through new product,” says President Howard Sellick. “The sky’s the limit on what we can produce in this new facility.”
