Less than a month after dedicating its Miami flagship ready mixed plant, Ozinga South Florida has acquired Banaszak Concrete, which brings fully operating satellites in Davie and Hollywood, Fla. The expansion helps demonstrate confidence in the Sunshine State’s recovering economy and steady construction growth, company officials note, and serves as a strong testament to future residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure job prospects.

Banaszak Concrete has been a family-owned ready mixed producer supplying the Broward County area since 1964. In welcoming Banaszak employees to their new organization, Ozinga Bros. management calls the business “a perfect fit with [our] culture and values.”

The producer announced earlier this year its plan to branch outside Lake Michigan-encompassing states to South Florida, staking claim with the new batch plant on Miami’s 17th Avenue. Leading Ozinga South Florida are the local construction market-seasoned team of Vice President and General Manager Jose F. Diaz, Jr., Vice President of Business Development Pepe Diaz, and Vice President of Sales J.C. Calleiro.
