NCMA has scheduled a 2018 launch for the International Concrete Exposition (ICON Expo) Machinery and Equipment Show, tentatively set for a February 9-10 staging in centrally located Indianapolis.

“The return of an equipment show will be a valuable addition to the industry’s successful ICON-Xchange and B2B, but give producers and suppliers the opportunity to touch and feel some of the recent innovations in the manufactured concrete masonry and hardscape industry,” says 2016 NCMA Chairman Patrick Sauter (King’s Material). “NCMA continues to lead the way in providing its members and the manufactured concrete masonry and hardscape industry with unique and highly successful events. ICON Expo promises to meet the industry’s needs for a hands-on event.”

ICON Expo is currently scheduled as a two-day program in conjunction with the NCMA Annual Convention, February 6-8, and Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute Annual Meeting, February 11-14. The tradeshow will include 15-plus exhibit hours and encompass an educational component, plant tours and social events. NCMA plans to continue its ICON-Xchange in off years, with ICON Expo staged on three-year cycles, beginning in 2018. With limited trade exhibit scheduled among NCMA convention activities, the 2017 ICON-Xchange will be held at the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix, February 18-19. The event’s B2B Exchange component offers high-impact, one-on-one appointments in reserved hotel rooms or suites with customers and prospects.
