Brampton Brick anticipates closing by mid-March on the concrete block line and other assets of Eurobloq Inc. in Boisbriand, Quebec. Valued up to $6 million, the transaction will add production and distribution capacity to meet the growing demand for the suitor’s masonry and landscape products in Quebec and eastern Ontario markets.

Brampton Brick is Canada’s second largest clay brick producer, serving its home and eastern provinces, plus the Northeast and Midwestern U.S. from headquarters and Indiana plants. It produces Oaks-branded concrete block, pavers, segmental retaining wall units, brick and veneer stone at Brampton, Brockville, Hillsdale and Markham, Ontario plants, along with a Wixom, Mich., satellite.
