Campbell Concrete customers on board with mobile app’s order, delivery status functions

Lehigh Hanson’s first mobile application for ready mixed, myCRETE, has launched through the Houston-based Campbell Concrete & Materials LLC business, affording iOS or Android device-equipped customers real-time delivery information and the ability to place orders on the fly.

myCRETE taps into Campbell Concrete’s back-end information technology systems, which can glean delivery status and vehicle location details from mixer truck-mounted sensors. Prior to myCRETE, delivery inquiries or order transactions had to be handled by calling a dispatch agent or salesperson.

“Our customers have been pleased with the enhanced service levels,” affirms Campbell Concrete Vice President and General Manager Stephen Wild. “They appreciate the convenience of mobile ordering and are thrilled with the ability to instantly access delivery information without having to place a call and wait on hold for an update.”

Positive customer response has been mirrored among Campbell Concrete employees, who have seen the mobile app reduce the volume of calls and orders they need to field and track. myCRETE can be downloaded from iTunes and Google Play stores.
