NRMCA has launched with RMC Research & Education Foundation support a project aimed at gaining a better understanding of mixer driver recruitment and retention challenges, and developing materials to build and maintain producer members’ driver ranks.
It coincides with widely acknowledged shortages of qualified driver candidates impacting ready mixed producers and fleet operators across commercial trucking. The project has kicked off with a 21-question survey, accessible here, for which NRMCA welcomes participation from a broad cross section of producers.
