Silvi Group has closed on R.E. Pierson Materials’ Winslow and Logan Township central mixed plants in southern New Jersey, three months after acquiring Pierson’s nearby Lumberton Township operation. The latter operates as Silvi Concrete of Mt. Holly, while the newly added plants will be rebranded Silvi Concrete of Berlin and Logan, respectively.

Silvi Group’s concrete service area now spans from Newark, N.J., to Wilmington, Del., and as far west as Lancaster, Pa. The Pierson properties are being integrated with sister Riverside Cement, Sahara Sand and Gibraltar Rock businesses. “This acquisition allows us to serve customers more effectively, and ties into our existing plants and raw materials,” affirms John Silvi, who co-owns the group with his brother, Larry Silvi.
