Cape Cod Ready Mix General Manager and Massachusetts Concrete & Aggregate Producers Association (MaCAPA) President Peter Joy has announced the appointment of David Dimmick as executive director of the association.
“We are looking to take MaCAPA to the next level in our growth and recognize the experience Dave Dimmick brings to our group will help make that transition possible,” says Joy. “[His] hiring is just one of the steps we are working on to increase the association’s programs to support our members in their efforts to grow the ready mixed concrete marketplace.”
In addition to his MaCAPA position, Dimmick currently serves as director of several other concrete-related industry associations. He has more than 25 years of association management experience, including the past 15 years as New England Concrete Masonry Association executive director and the past five years as Northeast Precast Concrete Association executive director. Dimmick is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a B.S. in Business Administration. He will be based at MaCAPA’s Manchaug, Mass., headquarters.
