The ACI Foundation’s Strategic Development Council (SDC) will hold its Technology Forum #36 at the Hyatt Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, September 4-5, to include an Alcatraz Island tour Concrete Preservation Institute Executive Director Dr. Tanya Komas has arranged with the National Parks Service.
The tour of public and restricted Alcatraz areas adds a concrete repair element to the schedule’s Concrete in Nuclear Construction, Concrete Wind Turbine Towers and Alternative Cementitious Materials sessions. Forum #36 showcases will see presentations from officials of Solidia Technologies, Greencraft LLC, and Cool-crete Technology Group LLC.
SDC involvement is primarily driven by the technology owner acting as champion, presentations subject to topic interest to overall Council membership. Formerly the SDC Session, the Technology Forum is open to all concrete industry professionals. Council members and non-members can register for Technology Forum #36 here.
