CEI Enterprises Inc., part of Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Astec Industries, is set to begin engineering, manufacturing and marketing a full line of concrete production plants, including traditional batch models and others deploying new technologies.
As part of an asset and production transfer under the Astec Industries umbrella, the CEI portfolio will encompass Conventional Concrete, Roller Compacted Concrete, and Cement Treated Base plant designs previously manufactured by Astec, Inc., which is exiting concrete plants to focus on a new renewable energy product line. The CEI models will feature what the company contends is innovative, leading-edge technology bringing new solutions to concrete producers or contractors supplying transportation and heavy civil projects.
