NPCA is accepting Creative Use of Precast (CUP) Awards and Sustainability Awards entries through November 15, two weeks beyond the original deadline. Winning projects and concepts will be showcased at the 2014 Precast Show, February 15-17 in Houston.
Sponsored by Tricon Precast Ltd., the CUP program recognizes projects promoting the advantages of precast concrete. It is divided into Underground and Above-Ground project categories, with judges weighing such criteria as innovation, cost benefits, schedule savings, ease of construction and aesthetics (Above-Ground entries). The Concrete Sealants-sponsored Sustainability Awards recognize Project and Company/Plant entries in Producer and Associate Member categories.
