Entries in the sixth annual Decorative Concrete Awards program, open to ASCC members and non-members, are being accepted through September 30.
Award categories include overlays; cast-in-place – stamped and special finishes; multiple applications; concrete artistry; stained; polished; countertops; vertical application; graphics; epoxy/polyaspartic flooring; and, architectural concrete. With the exception of countertops, two awards may be given in each category, for projects 5,000 sq. ft. and less, and projects over 5,000 sq. ft. Submittals are judged on craftsmanship, aesthetics, functionality and creativity. The awards will be presented at World of Concrete 2014.
