Equipped with a CAN bus-based electrical system, the K2200C model joins Kimble’s bridge formula mixer line, with deliveries beginning in April. As demonstrated in automobiles, mobile cranes and earthmoving equipment for years, the CAN bus reduces wiring connections, eliminates harness splices and delivers improved reliability, product engineers note. Another K2200C feature, the Kimble CANLINK electrical system, supports options that include self diagnostics, rear vision camera, drum counters, drum speed, data logging, and many safety features for the driver.
The new model will join the K2100 and K1900 in the company’s rear discharge mixer family, notes Kimble Mixer President Jeff Bust, adding, “Our objective is to offer products that make money for our customers every day.
