CIM auction proceeds eclipse prior record by $50K

Staged at the Las Vegas Convention Center on World of Concrete 2012 day two, the seventh annual auction benefitting Concrete Industry Management programs at five universities grossed $617,750.

“The National Steering Committee of the Concrete Industry Management program is pleased to report that the 2012 auction surpassed last year’s total proceeds by more than $100,000 and exceeded the previous record by $50,000,” affirms NSC Executive Director Eugene Martineau. “The NSC appreciates the record number of 155 donated items and all the bidders that helped make this year’s auction a huge success.”

The signature item was a Mack Granite GU813 equipped with a McNeilus 11-yd. concrete mixer donated by Mack Trucks, Inc. and McNeilus Cos. Danny Rodgers, president of MMC Materials, Inc., a Dunn Investment Co. business, prevailed on the bidding.
