Timothy J. Lindsay, based at GCC Mid-Continent Concrete’s Siloam Springs, Ark., plant, is the NRMCA 2012 Mixer Truck Driver of the Year. The award recognizes career achievements, safety record, professionalism, driving competency and customer service skills.

“When I think of Tim Lindsay, the word I think of is integrity,” GCC Production Manager Keith Soper noted on the Driver of the Year nomination form. “He has been a loyal employee for 33 years and his safety record is amazing!”

A panel of judges from the industry selected the top driver from a group of nominees across the country, and 35-year veteran mixer driver Raymond Spradley of Titan America, LLC, Port Norfolk, Va., as runner-up. Lindsay will receive a $5,000 check and Spradley a $500 check from the Truck Mixer Manufacturers Bureau. Both drivers will be honored at the NRMCA Annual Convention, March 4–6 in Savannah, Ga.
