RexCon engineers portable plant for rapid set-up

A “jobsite” portable batch plant, the Mobile 12SE features a 12-yd. accumulative style batcher and four-compartment, 66-ton aggregate bin with fold up sides. It can be physically erected in 20 minutes without a crane, while the back of the plant can be hydraulically raised to quickly release the running gear. Once sitting on the ground, the cement section is hydraulically raised to a charging height of 14 ft. for loading front or rear discharge mixer trucks. No concrete slabs or steel plating are required when setting up, as the Mobile 12SE lower frame runs the entire length of the batch plant and sits flatly on the ground.

The accumulative batcher provides production flexibility: Instead of the 66-ton aggregate bin, a three-compartment, 135-ton portable bin can be mounted over the top of the batcher for greater material storage. The larger bin is reversible, allowing material handling conveyors to be accessed from either side or the back of the batch plant.

Two 150-bbl cement storage bins, equipped with 12-in.-diameter screws and 40-hp drives, feed a gravity, 12-yd. cement batcher. The Mobile 12SE comes standard with a 36-in. batch belt, and a 20-hp air compressor.

The plant is also available with decumulative style batchers, providing a low profile for ramping with a front end loader. The Mobile 12 SE(CM) features a portable 12-yd. tilt drum for central mix and paving applications. — RexCon LLC, 262/539-4473; www.rexcon.com
