NPCA is accepting applications for its annual Safety Awards Program through January 13. The program honors safety-conscious NPCA producer members for their achievements during the 2011 calendar year, or reporting period January 1–December 31, 2011, in five categories. The categories are Excellence in Safety (Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze levels) and Most Improved Safety Record. Submitted figures must represent all employees at each plant or location for which a separate OSHA log or Canadian Ministry of Labor form is kept. Entry forms can be submitted via mail, fax or email.
