Hanson Pipe has acquired the Sherman-Dixie Concrete precast operation in Dayton, Ohio, adding the property to an East Region portfolio that includes Sidney and Columbus, Ohio, sites. “We will provide customers with the excellent quality and service they have come to expect from both companies,” said Hanson Pipe Senior Vice President Bob Christensen, “[and] welcome the existing production personnel to the Hanson Pipe & Precast team as we service the Dayton market.”
One of the largest independent producers in concrete pipe and precast, Nashville-based Sherman-Dixie maintains nine operations in Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama and Indiana. It acquired the Dayton property in 2004.
