Mark Anderson was recently elevated from chief operating officer to president and chief executive officer of Armtec, the Toronto Stock Exchange-traded parent company of Con-Force Structures, Calgary, and five other Canadian precast/prestressed producers. The promotion was announced upon the resignation of Charles Phillips as president, CEO and director.

Anderson joined Armtec in March 2011, following 16 years in Lafarge North America management posts, including Lakes and Seaway Cement president, responsible for five provinces and eight states, and vice president and general manager of the Western USA Aggregates and Great Lakes businesses.

“Mark has a proven record of strong leadership and operational excellence,” said Armtec Chairman Bob Wright. “Under [his] leadership and strategic focus, we are confident the company will create long-term value for stakeholders.”
