StormTrap reengineers namesake system, gains Contech distribution

Morris, Ill.-based precast concrete stormwater management system developer and licensor StormTrap LLC has announced new versions of its signature SingleTrap and DoubleTrap products, both easier to transport and install than predecessor designs. The company cites the systems’ modular, customizable features, allowing them to be specified in a large variety of commercial development projects.

“We are committed to developing new methods to reduce costs and improve efficiencies of our stormwater management products,” says StormTrap Vice President Justin May. “Engineers can tailor the best stormwater solution to meet a project’s exact needs with the SingleTrap and DoubleTrap designs … The strength of our precast concrete systems allows us to offer a lifetime warranty.”

Coinciding with the StormTrap versions, the company has a) streamlined navigation of its website whereby users can preview the stormwater management systems with 3D renderings and video; and, b) inked a strategic agreement granting Contech Construction Products exclusive rights to sell StormTrap structures and water quality products in Louisiana and all states west of the Mississippi, excluding Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri and Alaska.

The StormTrap technology joins corrugated metal pipe products and distribution operations under the Contech Drainage Solutions business. The West Chester, Ohio-based company’s Bridge and Earth Stabilization Solutions represent the proprietary manufactured-concrete brands Con-Span, Bebo Arch and Keystone Retaining Walls.
