Harmonizing its batch plant equipment brand with the flagship, Columbia will operate the Turmac Division as the Batching Division of Columbia Machine. The name change reinforces the primary focus of providing concrete batching and mixing solutions to domestic and international product machinery customers, notes General Manager J.P. Gianotti.
“[It] is a logical next step as we provide innovative batch plant solutions to a large variety of concrete markets throughout the world,” he adds. “For over 70 years, Columbia Machine has set the standard for block and paver markets by installing and servicing product plants in over 150 countries, and is now setting sites on becoming the premier supplier of batching and mixing equipment for those same markets.”
