Lion Hard is a high-performance, lithium-silicate floor product for new or existing cured concrete. The coating penetrates surfaces and rapidly transforms the weak calcium hydroxide and calcium carbonate compounds in concrete into dense, insoluble, durable wear surfaces, the manufacturer explains.
Lion Hard is a VOC-free, colorless, and odorless solution consisting of a pure reactive lithium silicate chemical ion with a non-acid penetrant. It is effective also on polished concrete surfaces to harden, densify and protect the finish of an FGS PermaShine floor, product developers affirm.
Available in 5- and 55-gal. containers, Lion Hard can assist project teams with LEED, Green Globes, or CHPS [Collaborative for High Performance Schools] certification.
