Concrete Innovations and Answers, a continuing education series for design and construction professionals, will be presented in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and 11 other cities, October 5ÒNovember 3. High Concrete’s Fall 2010 line-up spotlights sustainable design in precast facades and enclosure systems, and is presented with cosponsors BASF Admixture Systems, Essroc Italcementi Group, Glen-Gery Brick, JVI, and Lehigh White Cement.

Precast can make unique contributions to sustainable projects in terms of reducing both the initial and lifecycle carbon footprints, says High Concrete Vice President of Marketing Gary Graziano, AIA. [Our] all-new AIA-registered courses explain recent trends, technological advances and practical design approaches in precast that can help designers fulfill their visions for people, planet and prosperity. Architects may earn their full year’s requirement of four Sustainable Design LU hours, plus 3.5 HSW/LU hours, through Concrete Innovations and Answers, he adds.

The full seminar schedule and registration details are posted online, along with registration details; otherwise, participants can sign up by calling 800-PRECAST.
