Seven recent certification recipients bring the total Master Blockmaker number to 179 since the program was initiated in 1993 at the World Center for Concrete Technology, located on the Alpena Community College campus in Alpena, Mich. As classes have been expanded to include online courses, candidates now can earn certification by completing all courses online or via a combination of classroom and online instruction.
